Teleman Releases New Single “Düsseldorf”

Mobile notifications are as frequent as in-and-out breaths these days, but when Spotify popped up with the latest music release by Teleman, my heart definitely skipped a beat. And “Düsseldorf” delivered on high expectations.

Upon further investigation, Teleman actually performed this track for the Green Man Festival folks back in October of 2015. The now studio produced and second single released from the upcoming Brilliant Sanity, due out April 8 on Moshi Moshi Records, journeys out with Jonny Sanders‘ underground rhythm’d keyboards that lead the way onto the “Düsseldorf” trip, as singer/guitarist Thomas Sanders begins to tell this musical tale.

Not as somber as the first single, “Fall in Time,” which came out in December of last year, the tone and mood spins high and low on a carnival carousel, then bounces ‘round with bass hooks by New Jersey-born Pete Cattermoul and Hiro Amamiya‘s drums as lady Düsseldorf speaks her mind.

Just getting a taste of these two tracks makes the anticipation for Brilliant Sanity all the more intense, especially after Teleman’s Breakfast debut in 2014.

So go on. “Put on, put on your favourite song.”
