Hailing from Salt Lake City, Cavedoll has put a stylistic twist on the ever popular post-punk revival of new new-wave indie-rock. No Vertigo is a fun, catchy, dancy and well produced album.
Drawing from the styles of Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, and The Killers, Cavedoll has incorporated their own style in this genre by adding harmonized vocals and breaking from the normal vocal monotony. Vocalists Camden Chamberlain and Vanessa Chamberlain have beautifully harmonizing voices that both compliment and accentuate each other.
Apparently, Cavedoll is scheduled to release 10 albums in 2008 consisting of their back-catalogue, new material, and remixes. Fans of this band are sure to have plenty to look forward to.
