It’s Halloween and the boys in Two Door Cinema Club honor the holiday by donning posh costumes for one of the most amazing performances, definitely holding a solid place in my top 10 favorite shows in 2010.
The second U.S. tour for the Northern Ireland band but the first time to Denver (at least, I believe so), Two Door Cinema Club had the crowd going nuts from the first song to the last, pulling out favorites “I Can Talk,” “Undercover Martyn,” “Eat That Up, It’s Good for You” from Tourist History.
Funeral Party, on tour with Two Door Cinema Club, rocked Denver with tracks from their new debut album (coming out in early 2011), including “Finale,” “New York Moves to the Sound of L.A.,” and “Just Because.” I hadn’t seen them perform since SXSW of last year, so it was amazing to get a live show fix from the L.A. boys. I just wished they had played my favorite song, “Genuine Idea.”
