Record Store Day 2013 highlights ensued, including Paul Weller, a bit of New Order via the Factory Records 1978-1992 EP, Inspiral Carpets, Foals, Grizzly Bear, Small Faces, and a clip from the record store love affair documentary, “Last Shop Standing.”
Played the last song of Hot Chip’s Coachella set, “I Feel Better,” along with other Coachella acts Phoenix and Johnny Marr, who continued on tour to Denver’s Gothic Theatre, plus Outside Lands fest news.
In between it all, an interview with Mark Zannad from the San Francisco duo, Seatraffic, his affinity for Record Store Day and the making of their latest singles, “Superficial Heart,” and “Tempo of Regret.”
