KBuzz Video of the Day – We Are Enfant Terrible – Flesh ‘N’ Blood Kids

We Are Enfant Terrible - Flesh 'N Blood Kids

We are Enfant Terrible embraces the D.I.Y. style in the band’s new video, “Flesh ‘N’ Blood Kids,” venturing from the venue to the graffiti splashed underbelly of the city of Lille, where the trio forms campy poses ala Devo.

Lead singer and keyboard player Clo Floret, guitarist Thomas Fourny and the colorful and antic-prone drummer Cyril Debarge, make their way from the train tracks to a club dance floor, where a combo of disco ball, swaying boys, girls and beer ensues, a fitting scenario for the free spirited electro dance hooks of “Flesh ‘N’ Blood Kids.”

We are Enfant Terrible releases its debut, Explicit Pictures, on Last Gang Records today (April 5). Recorded and mixed by Thomas Fourny at his home studio in Lille, the D.I.Y. ethic continues while tapping an unlikely toy of the trade, the Nintendo Game Boy featured in the short “Flesh ‘N’ Blood Kids” flick. Some musicians cite their parent’s or older sibling’s record collection as inspiration for songwriting, but for the trio, it was video game music each band member grew up with that sparked WAET’s path toward its aural destination.
