BRONCHO wrapped their tour with Billy Idol in Feburary and are now prepping for the trek to Austin for SXSW. Thus far they’re set to play the Culture Collide party at Bar 96 Friday, March 20 at 9:30pm, with additional dates to follow.
Soon after in April BRONCHO will head back to the Europe and the UK where they played a series of sold-out gigs last year, performing with The Districts at London’s Scala, before three shows in London, Glasgow and Bristol with The Growlers.
According to lead singer, Ryan Lindsay, the main character in their new video for “NC-17,” off of last year’s Just Enough Hip To Be Woman, is experiencing a common scenario of growing up, where the kid brother is getting a glimpse of what’s to come when he gets older. Through an almost 80’s filter, the younger brother is exposed to the non-filtered antics of his older brother’s friends, seeing with his eyes as well as his huge video camera. “Maybe they experienced the same things and don’t see a problem with him getting into trouble? Maybe they’re teaching him how not to get in trouble? Causing trouble without getting in trouble.”
