Closing of The North Door
As quickly as it opened The North Door is swinging shut, at least for the time being. According to Russ Austin from The North Door, a number of all-ages problems have risen beyond their control.
Russ sends his apologies out to, “those bands that have shows coming up and the fans that were looking forward to them.”
But all is not lost…yet.
If you are interested in keeping original music venues alive, then the crew from The North Door invites anyone and everyone to show up this Saturday, May 17 at 2pm to brainstorm about what can be done to overcome the problems and issues that led to their closing.
They’ll also be providing soft drinks for free and asking for 2 bucks for the pizza. This means all the fans of local music and our local musician’s community.
The North Door is located at 2187 South Sheridan in Denver.
