Drzen AKA (UZIEGO, Zac
Dunn) was born in the year of the dragon. Drzen has been
actively involved in making for over 15 years. As a professional
dj Drzen has held residencies at the Snake Pit, The Meadowlark,
Lucky Strike and currently at Mario's Double Daughter
for over 4 years.
Involved in the Colorado hip hop scene
since 2002, Drzen has DJ'd for Bugaboo, Tha Fly and
most memorably: The Strange Us with Shageone, Evac the
Planet and Amed 54. Drzen since leaving live hip-hop
has moved onto solo analog based MPC performance and
production. He has also remixed numerous tracks for
the Colorado hip-hop outfit The DOJO, and continues
to collaborate and produce with many Denver-based artists.
The "classics" Drzen will
have in his arsenol will range from late 70's 80's tracks
from Grandmaster Flash, Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow,
The Johnsun Crew, to the 90's gems from artists such
as Rakim, The Beastie Boys, Freestlye Fellowship, Black
Moon, Gangstar, Black Star, plus the favorties as far
as b-boy breaks go, including Apache, mardi Gras, Bounce
Rock Skate and many more.
