What day is it? Got our asses out of bed early to to get in line in the AM for the SXXpress pass...allowing us to cut in line for the Muse show. A very smooth process - kudos to the SXSW staff for handling things so smoothyly. Other acts we saw included Metric, along with massive performances from Dead Sexy and Mayer Hawthorne. Oh, and I met Martin Atkins in the elevator. It was a good day.

The last day of SXSW 2010 for me. Started with the British Embassy Brunch, featuring The Crookes and Broadcast 2000, but no coffee. Then over to see Of Verona, the Filter Party for Athlete and The Constellations, ending with Alvarez Kings, P.K. 14, and two other bands I wasn't into, at all. Finally time to detox and get some sleep. Can't wait for next year!
As technology evolves and continues to help us to handle life in a more convenient manner, making every-day tasks like carrying maps in a car seem silly when we have a GPS system, or carry around cash when we have a debit card, lots of 0s and 1s in our name are being stored. “Erasing David” is a scary wake up call as to just how the days of privacy may be long gone.
